Commission Services

If you look through my paintings and don’t see exactly what you want, commission services are for you! I do not charge more for original commissions than I do for already created paintings.

I will do my best to work with you to get you exactly the painting that you want. These are examples of my commissions where clients have provided images, and I have made paintings based on their requests.

The patron had only this blurry picture of his grandfather in the Navy. He was able to find a picture of his face from near the time of his service. I used his information the patron had to look up his service records and determine what uniform he would have worn and what ship he served on.

A wedding present for the founder of a cafe. I was able to use Google Street View to extend the image to include more of the street.

When this young passed away, I was asked to paint his portrait for his funeral two days later.

If you are interested in a custom painting, the prices are based on size, not content. I charge $200 per square foot or smaller. For example, a 16″x20″ painting would be calculated as follows:

16*20= 320 Square inches
320/144= 2.22 Square feet
2.22*200= $444

Using this formula, I charge $444 for a 16″x20″ painting.

9″ x 12″ = $200
11″ x 14″ = $214
12″ x 16″ = $266
16″ x 20″ = $320
18″ x 24″ = $600
20″ x 24″ = $666
24″ x 30″ = $1000
24″ x 36″ = $1200
24″ x 48″ = $1600
30″ x 40″ = $1666
36″ x 48″ = $2400
